Parenting in a Pandemic

What has been your greatest struggles over the past 2 years as you have been parenting in a pandemic?

As Parent/Relationship coaches we have taken the time to interview parents across Canada and the US to find out the answer to this question. In our session together we are going to look at the struggles that parents have shared with us in our interviews and the pains that parenting in a pandemic and the pains they felt as a family.

Next, we are going to discuss the life that parents want to experience right now. A life without masks, mandates and lockdowns, a life without so much stress, worry, fear, struggle and so much uncertainty. A life where they can walk freely in their neighbourhood and a life where their children are able to play sports and have other extracurricular activities.

Then we look at what is holding you back from feeling the joy of life and also how to cope with the uncertainty that the pandemic has brought into your life. Our approach as coaches is to help individuals and couples take responsibility for the thoughts they think, the feelings they feel and the actions they take, and guide them towards a greater understanding of who they choose to be, do, and have.

The goal is to empower parents to move from the struggles they are facing to solutions, to a place where they can shed the negative emotions they have been experiencing for far too long and move forward with a positive plan for the future.

So, let’s work together and look towards the future and what you want to experience. We can help you create a plan to a way forward with clarity and hope and learn some strategies to help your family cope when life feels uncertain.
